Demand
In early 2022, a leading brand in the motorsport industry recognized that its digital platform had reached its limits. The system was outdated, the integrations were fragile, and customer expectations had outpaced the available experience. What started as a technical necessity quickly evolved into an opportunity for a complete digital transformation aimed at boosting e-commerce leads, enhancing personalization, and establishing a new standard in user experience. That’s when we+ stepped in – not just to
provide support but to help guide the
process.
Design
Instead of rushing forward with a tech-first approach, we+ helped shape a multi-year vision grounded in business value and stakeholder alignment. Our Program Manager, Bart Caerlens, collaborated closely with the client and external partners like EPAM and INDG to co-design a roadmap that balanced ambition with feasibility.
Together, we focused on six clear goals:
- A seamless migration to AEM Cloud without losing existing integrations.
- A fully revamped digital platform with best-in-class user experience (UX).
- A groundbreaking 3D configurator that is real-time and mobile-ready.
- The foundation for hyper-personalized experiences.
- Fast, flexible content management across 40+ countries.
- A late-stage transition to a new analytics tool, driven by audit insights.
Deliver
With we+ in the driver’s seat, the project remained on track, even as last-minute changes threatened to derail timelines.
Our approach at we+? Transparency, proactivity, and strict program governance. Working alongside EPAM and internal client teams, we developed new templates, reusable components, and scalable implementation processes.
And it paid off: on September 27, 2023, the new European website went live. It launched in nearly 40 countries, in over 20 languages, fully compliant, featuring a real-time 3D configurator, and with a new analytics system integrated just in time.
Drive
This launch marked not the end, but the beginning. We+ continue to be closely involved, helping to scale personalization and support further website rollouts, and embed best practices across global teams.
